Conflict of Interest
Because I have spent so much time in the local volunteer sector and spoken to many Clients in the Greater Manchester area, there is a small chance that I may have had dealings with or have supported the other party in your issue. Should that happen, this would present a Conflict of Interest and we would need to discuss this and if you still wanted to proceed with me as your Mckenzie Friend, I would need you to sign and date the Informed Consent form (the appointment cannot go ahead without it).
It is also possible that both parties (Applicant/Respondent or Claimant/Defendant) could be in contact with me and if that should happen, the Client who contacted me first would be offered the service while the other person would be signposted to an alternative service.
